Floyd H. Lawson Scholarship

Established in 1988 by Floyd ‘Rudy’ and Yvonne Lawson, colleagues and friends. Awarded to two junior-level transfer students entering one of the Watson College engineering disciplines selected for academic merit, at time of selection the student must have a 3.4 GPA. Recipients will retain the scholarship for the following if they maintain a 3.0 GPA and remain in the Watson College.

No application or inquiry is required in order to be considered for this scholarship. A review of Watson College students is done based on donor terms, and selection is made based on high academic achievement. Recipients are selected in the Spring for the following academic year.
