Tracy Caliendo Scholarship

Established in 2006 by Dennis M. Schneck ’97 and Tracy A. Caliendo ’97, this scholarship will be awarded to a Harpur College of Arts & Sciences or School of Management undergraduate student based on financial need and academic merit. The recipient will retain the scholarship for four years of study as long as the need and academic merit status is maintained (minimum GPA of 3.2 for freshman and sophomore years, minimun 3.3 GPA for junior and senior years). Preference will be given to residents of the five boroughs of New York City who have been employed during their high school years.

Student must have a FAFSA on file to demonstrate financial need according to federal financial aid guidelines. No additional application or inquiry is required in order to be considered for this scholarship. A review of qualified students is done based on donor terms. Selection is made based on academic merit and financial need. Recipients are selected in the spring for the following academic year.
