James J. Rotella Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1997 by James F. Rotella in memory of James “Jimmy” Rotella, this scholarship is awarded to a full-time junior-level student enrolled in the Watson College, based on academic merit (3.0 GPA or higer) and financial need. The recipient should demonstrate admirable work ethic which is a quality displayed by Mr. Rotella throughout his life. Preference is given to a Broome County resident, particularly those of Italian-American heritage.
Student must have a FAFSA on file to demonstrate financial need according to federal financial aid guidelines. A review of Watson College students is done based on donor terms, and selection is made based on high academic achievement and financial need. Recipients are selected in the Spring for the following academic year.
