Ken Jacobs Cinema Scholarship

Established in 1996 by Jonathan M. Plasse, Esq. The recipients will be one undergraduate student. The undergrad student will be in Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Cinema and in good academic standing. Preference for recipients who have demonstrated financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This scholarship is renewable contingent upon department approval and the student maintaining a 3.0 GPA and the criteria as outlined above.

Student should have a FAFSA on file to demonstrate financial need according to federal financial aid guidelines. No application or inquiry is required in order to be considered for this scholarship. A review of qualified students is done based on donor terms, and selection is made by committee. Recipients are selected in the spring for the following academic year.
