Nesar Ahmad Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2006 by Fareena Sultan in memory of Nesar Ahmad. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduate student whose research is in historical sociology or political economy, with a preference for students working within a world-systems perspective. The recipient must demonstrate academic merit by maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0. Preference will be given to students with an interest in the Middle East and South Asia. This scholarship is not renewable.
