STNY Mechanical Contractors Association Scholarship

Established in 2017 by the Southern Tier Mechanical Contractors Association. This scholarship will be awarded to a full-time junior or senior in the Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Recipient must be a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) student organization. Recipient must be a permanent resident of Broome, Tioga, Chemung, Tompkins, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Delaware, Otsego, Herkimer or Chenango counties. Second preference will be given to any domestic MCAA member. Selection will be based on academic merit, the recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25. Recipient will be a student who is not eligible for the Excelsior Scholarship.
This scholarship is not renewable however, a student may be awarded the scholarship for a second year at the discretion of the department.
