Michael and Lauren Brown Family Scholarship in Honor of Professor Paul Smith

Awarded to a junior Political Science major who demonstrates academic merit (3.0+ GPA) and shows a commitment to the University. Preference for a student with demonstrated financial need. Scholarship is renewable if student continues to meet the criteria.

Students should have a FAFSA on file to demonstrate financial need according to federal financial aid guidelines. For consideration of this scholarship, eligible students must write a one-page essay signifying their interest in American politics and the electoral process. Recipients are selected in the Spring for the following academic year.
