Bruce and Elaine Kantor Women's Pre-Med Scholarship

Established in 2020 by Lenore Goldstein ’90 and Mitchell Goldstein ’89. This scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman student in Harpur College. The recipient must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and must be a female African American student. The recipient must have a permanent address in one of the five boroughs of New York City or Westchester, Nassau or Rockland County in New York. The recipient must be on a pre-medicine track. This scholarship is renewable for an additional three years contingent upon the student maintaining the criteria and a minimum GPA of 3.5.
