Joel D. Robinson Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1982, in memory of Joel D. Robinson, who died in an automobile accident in October 1981. Supports returning students in good academic standing, with first preference given to students who work in a Broome County social or educational program whose purpose is directed at the improvement of the social or environmental quality of life. The scholarship funds are made available to enable students to engage in social activities in the struggle for justice, peace and a safe world.

An application and three letters of reference must be submitted to Professor Gladys Jimenez-Munoz <gjimenez@binghamton.edu>. Review of applications and selection done by a committee. Awarded during the spring semester for the following academic year.
