IBM/Watson Fellows Scholarship

Established in 1985 by IBM retirees: Walter A. Harris, Gordon P. Lovell, Clarence R. Manning, Charles F. McElwain, Frank G. Paul, and J. H. (Jack) VanGorden with IBM Corporation in an effort to attract high-quality engineering students to the Watson College. Contributions from retired IBM executives established an endowment fund to provide scholarships for meritorious junior transfer and freshmen students in the school’s engineering program. Scholarship is for transfer students.

No application or inquiry is required in order to be considered for this scholarship. A review of Watson College students is done based on donor terms, and selection is made based on high academic achievement. Recipients are selected in the Spring for the following academic year.
